Prince Mohammed bin Salman: Neighboring Countries are Important for Our Renaissance

Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman emphasized that "neighboring countries are important for the renaissance of the Kingdom." During talks in Bahrain on Thursday evening, he stated, "We must work with our neighbors to ensure that their situation is distinguished, especially those closest to our hearts, Bahrain."

**Discussions in Bahrain**

Prince Mohammed bin Salman arrived in Bahrain earlier on Thursday, where he was welcomed by King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. They reviewed the historical relations between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation in various fields, in addition to developments in regional and international situations.

Furthermore, a correspondent for "Al-Arabiya/Al-Hadath" reported that the Crown Princes of Saudi Arabia and Bahrain chaired a meeting of the coordinating council between the two countries. The Saudi-Bahraini coordinating council had convened before Prince Mohammed bin Salman's arrival in Manama to discuss several joint issues.

**Oman, UAE, and Qatar**

It is noteworthy that Prince Mohammed bin Salman began a visit to the Sultanate of Oman the previous Tuesday, where they discussed various shared interests and ways to enhance political, economic, and military cooperation. He later visited the United Arab Emirates, where Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed emphasized the importance of the relationship between the two countries and presented Prince Mohammed bin Salman with the "Zayed Order" of the first class.

Additionally, the Saudi Crown Prince arrived in Qatar on Wednesday, where he chaired a meeting of the Saudi-Qatari coordinating council with the Emir of the country, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani. They signed the amended protocol to establish the council, which will be co-chaired by Prince Mohammed bin Salman and Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad, to work on strengthening bilateral relations.

This Gulf tour precedes the forty-second summit of the leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council, which will be held this month in Riyadh.
