Egyptian security agencies are intensifying efforts to uncover the circumstances surrounding the discovery of a girl's dismembered body inside a travel bag on the Oasis Road in Giza Governorate. An security source stated to "Sky News Arabia" that the authorities received a report of a girl’s body severed in half, found on the Oasis Road in Giza. According to the source, investigations revealed that the body belongs to a girl in her twenties, who was headless and cut into two halves, with the head found inside a bag. The security source noted that preliminary examinations by investigation officers indicated that the victim had been subjected to brutal torture, as evidence of torture was visible on her dismembered body, and that the perpetrator had subsequently decapitated and cut her body in half. The source added that security agencies have secured several surveillance cameras near the location where the body was found, and the authorities have released descriptions of the victim in an attempt to determine her identity. A report of the incident has been filed, and the public prosecutor has been notified.
