The Moroccan national team won the Arab Futsal Cup held in Saudi Arabia, after defeating the Iraqi counterpart 3-0 in the final on Tuesday. The three goals for the Moroccan team were scored by Abdul Latif Fati, an own goal by Iraqi player Ghaith Arab, and Youssef Jawad. This victory marks Morocco's second consecutive title in the tournament, equalizing the record of Libya and Egypt. The Moroccan futsal team is currently considered the strongest Arab and African team, ranking tenth in the world ranking of futsal teams.
