The Geophysical Institute of Ecuador recorded an earthquake measuring 6.0 on the Richter scale. The institute noted in a tweet that the tremor was detected near the city of Guayaquil. They clarified that the epicenter of the quake was at a depth of 57.83 km. This comes after another tremor in the Pacific Ocean measuring 5.5.
