The Army Command issued a statement regarding the maritime and aerial violations carried out by Israeli forces.
The National News Agency reported that the Directorate of Guidance in the Army Command clarified that on January 26, 2021, at 06:10, an Israeli reconnaissance aircraft violated Lebanese airspace over the town of Mays al-Jabal, executing circular flights over southern regions, before leaving the airspace at 06:55 over the town of Aitaroun. The agency added that on January 25, 2021, from 20:50 until January 26, 2021, at 01:00, two reconnaissance aircraft affiliated with the Israeli enemy recorded two aerial violations, performing circular flights over various Lebanese areas. The agency continued that on January 25, 2021, from 15:25 until 21:35, six aerial violations were recorded by Israeli warplanes, with circular flights over various Lebanese territories.
Regarding maritime violations, the agency reported that on January 26, 2021, between 01:36 and 01:38, an Israeli warship violated Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras al-Naqoura, intruding approximately 75 meters, where its crew dropped a flare over the aforementioned maritime area. The agency pointed out that all violations are being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
