The Ministry of Public Health announced the registration of 3,505 new cases of the COVID-19 virus.
The National News Agency reported that the Ministry of Public Health confirmed the new cases, bringing the cumulative number of confirmed cases to 285,754, with 73 reported deaths. The report from the ministry included various details.
On another note, the Minister of Public Health in the caretaker government, Dr. Hamad Hassan, discussed the national vaccination plan with several heads of departments and related directorates. The National News Agency indicated that Minister Hassan reviewed and updated the vaccination plan, making several amendments to some of its items, which will be discussed at the Grand Serail tomorrow.
It was pointed out that next Thursday morning has been tentatively set for the launch of the vaccination registration platform at the Ministry of Public Health, with the presence of Minister Dr. Hassan, Minister of Information Dr. Manal Abdel Samad Najd, and the head of the National Vaccine Management Committee, Dr. Abdel Rahman Al-Bizri. The agency noted that the launch of the platform has been postponed by two days to include the option for sectoral registration for institutions and syndicates alongside personal registration on the platform.
