Mohammed bin Salman Participates in Washing the Kaaba

On behalf of his father, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman participated in washing the Holy Kaaba on Tuesday. The Saudi Press Agency "SPA" reported that "upon the arrival of Prince Mohammed bin Salman at the Grand Mosque, accompanied by Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, Minister of Sports, he was welcomed by the General President of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet's Mosque, Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais." It noted that "as soon as the Crown Prince arrived at the Grand Mosque, he circled the ancient house and performed the two rak'at of Tawaf. After that, he went inside the Holy Kaaba where he had the honor of washing it, then performed the two rak'at of Sunnah." "SPA" added that "accompanying Prince Mohammed bin Salman in washing the Holy Kaaba were the Governor of Taif, Prince Saud bin Nahaar bin Saud bin Abdulaziz, Prince Saud bin Abdullah bin Jalawi, the Governor of Jeddah, and members of the Senior Scholars Committee: Sheikh Dr. Saleh bin Abdullah bin Humaid, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed Al-Mutlaq, Sheikh Dr. Saad bin Nasser al-Shathri, and Sheikh Dr. Bandar bin Abdulaziz."
