After Salah's Contract Renewal, Player Sparks Tension at Liverpool

The joy of Liverpool fans regarding the announcement of Egyptian star Mohamed Salah's contract renewal has been overshadowed by reports suggesting that his teammate Naby Keita may be leaving Anfield. The "Sport Bible" website reported that the Guinean international, whom manager Jürgen Klopp described as "one of the best midfielders of all time," is seeking a way out of Liverpool, having struggled to establish his place in the Premier League since his transfer in 2018.

The source mentioned that Keita may join Juventus this summer in a potential swap deal involving French player Adrien Rabiot. It added, "Despite these reports, the players are quite different, as Keita is an attacking-minded player, while Rabiot tends to stay defensive."

Additionally, the "Libero" website revealed that Liverpool wants to renew Keita's contract, but the latter has "rejected this," which means he could be sold during this transfer window or leave for free when his contract expires next summer. Notably, Keita is a candidate for the African Player of the Year award for 2022, with the winner to be announced on July 21.
