Croatian national television reported the first case of monkeypox in the country. The television quoted the "Dr. Fran Mihaljević" Hospital for Infectious Diseases located in the capital, Zagreb: "This concerns a man who visited Italy and Spain. He has a mild case of monkeypox and has not been hospitalized; he is in home isolation." In neighboring Serbia, the first case of monkeypox was recorded on June 17 in a man returning from Germany, who is currently receiving treatment in Belgrade.
