A Egyptian court has issued a new decision regarding the appeal filed by artist Mohamed Ramadan against the ruling obliging him to pay a compensation of 6 million Egyptian pounds to the late pilot Ashraf Abu El Yasser. The ruling has been postponed pending judgment. The Court of Cassation has reserved the appeal filed by Mohamed Ramadan against the Cairo Economic Court's decision, obliging him to pay the compensation based on a crisis he caused that led to the pilot being suspended from work in 2019. The judgment is set for March 16. The Cairo Economic Court had previously ordered Mohamed Ramadan to pay 6 million pounds after the late pilot Ashraf Abu El Yasser filed a lawsuit seeking compensation for the damages incurred due to a scandalous video showing Mohamed Ramadan in the pilot's cockpit. Lawyer Ahmed El Gendy, representing Mohamed Ramadan, filed the appeal against the ruling.
