According to high-level official sources, contrary to what has been rumored, Lebanon will not file a complaint with the United Nations against Israel due to its repeated daily violations of Lebanese sovereignty, after the U.S. administration “requested” that Lebanon refrain from filing the complaint to avoid further escalating tensions. Notably, Israel, contrary to reports, has not submitted a complaint to the international organization regarding the resistance drones flying over the “Karish” field, despite its ambassador to the UN hinting at such a move two days ago. However, the Lebanese Foreign Ministry informed the Americans that if Israel proceeds with its complaint, Lebanon will submit its own complaint in response to Israel's repeated violations of Lebanese airspace and its use for conducting air attacks on Syria, as well as its repeated violations of Resolution 1701 on land and sea.
