Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo published a message detailing his significant achievements throughout his career, which some regarded as a "farewell message" to Italian club Juventus. In a post on his Facebook account, Ronaldo thanked everyone who supported him during his career and confirmed that he is very happy after winning all the titles in England, Spain, and Italy.
Many considered the message to be a "goodbye" to his current team, Juventus, as it seemed to conclude a "chapter" in his career, expressing gratitude for his accomplishments in the three countries. Ronaldo wrote: "This year we could not win the Italian league, and we congratulate Inter on the title they deserve. However, we must appreciate everything we achieved this season at Juventus, both collectively and individually. I was delighted to win the Italian Super Cup, the Coppa Italia, and the title of top scorer in the Italian league, which is difficult to achieve in a country where winning is not easy."
He hinted, saying: "With these achievements, I have reached the goal I set for myself from day one in Italy, which is to win the league, the cup, and the Super Cup, as well as to be the best player and top scorer in a country filled with stars, great players, and giant clubs that have a very special football culture."
This message came days after the end of the Italian league, where Juventus coach Andrea Pirlo surprisingly benched Ronaldo during the final crucial match against Bologna. Some speculated that Ronaldo's journey at Juventus might be over and that he is on his way out, with his former club Manchester United and French club Paris Saint-Germain being among the main contenders.
