In one of the villages in Assiut Governorate, Egypt, a horrific crime occurred when a woman ended the life of a child by stabbing him, in retaliation against his father due to ongoing disputes. According to a security source who spoke to "Sky News Arabia," the local authorities received a report from a farmer who found the body of his 10-year-old grandson discarded in agricultural land behind his home, showing multiple stab wounds and abdominal injuries.
The source mentioned that upon intensifying investigations and gathering information, it was discovered that a woman residing in the same village was responsible for the incident. Investigations revealed that an argument had erupted between the accused and the victim's father, escalating into a brawl where the father insulted her in front of the villagers.
The source added that the accused decided to take revenge on the father by murdering the child. She took out a knife, lured the child while he was playing in front of his house, led him to a plot of land, and then inflicted several stab wounds on him, resulting in his immediate death.
The source concluded that after confirming that the child had taken his last breath, the accused left his body lying in a pool of blood and fled to avoid being caught. The accused was later arrested, a report was filed regarding the incident, and the public prosecution was notified to conduct an investigation.
