The Egyptian actress Hala Shiha is facing widespread backlash due to her comments about her latest film "Mesh Ana," in which she starred alongside Tamer Hosni. She expressed her anger towards the song associated with the film and criticized Tamer Hosni, claiming he did not fulfill his promises to her by including scenes she requested not to be shown, out of respect for her new circumstances after marrying preacher Moaz Masoud.
Tamer Hosni refuted Shiha's claims completely, stating that he adhered to even more than what she requested. He mentioned that she disappeared and ignored the entire team, shutting off her phone. These statements have caused an uproar within the artistic community, leading to significant criticism of Hala Shiha.
Egyptian producer Mohamed Adel expressed his discontent towards her actions, stating, "Since you view what you've done as forbidden, are you going to spend forbidden money? Return the money." He later reiterated his pride in being part of the art and artist community.
In another post, Adel criticized Shiha's remarks, especially since she implicated her father, a visual artist, and her sister, actress Hana Shiha, feeling that her words only conveyed wrongdoing.
Ultimately, Mohamed Adel suggested that Hala Shiha's statements were not originally hers but rather influenced by her husband, Moaz Masoud, questioning: "If the clip was released in the month of Jumada al-Awwal instead of Dhul-Hijjah, would it have been acceptable to you? That's Masoud's words… he’s the one holding the phone, right? Hide it from him."
The criticism did not stop there, as fellow actors like Khaled Sarhan also voiced their disapproval, stating, "Anyone who does not respect art should return the money and the villas they earned from art, and then I will believe them."
