He expressed a preference for a "more centrist" president. Tesla, headquartered in Palo Alto, California, employs around 10,000 workers at its Fremont factory, where United Auto Workers have made various attempts to unionize. In contrast, with global doubts about China's status as an investment market, Musk reaffirmed Tesla's commitment to China, stating, "Tesla will continue to expand its investments in the country." These comments came during a pre-recorded Q&A session at the World Internet Conference, hosted by China’s Cyberspace Administration. Less than two weeks ago, Musk noted at the Global New Energy Vehicle Conference that Chinese car manufacturers are "the most competitive in the world."
