Violent Clashes at Al-Aqsa Mosque between Palestinians and Israeli Army

Violent clashes broke out early this Friday between Palestinians and Israeli army forces in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa Mosque. The "Voice of Al-Aqsa" radio reported that Israeli forces assaulted worshippers at the mosque and fired sound bombs and tear gas. Palestinian media outlets noted that the Israeli army stormed the Mughrabi Gate area and fired rubber bullets at the steadfast individuals present. The Israeli army also prevented ambulance crews from entering Al-Aqsa Mosque. This escalation coincides with the arrival of dozens of buses carrying Palestinians to Al-Aqsa Mosque on the last Friday of Ramadan.
