Saudi Ambassador from the Southern Suburb: No Hostility with Members of the Shia Community

Mr. Ali Fadlallah received the Saudi ambassador to Lebanon, Walid Bukhari, who offered his condolences on the twelfth anniversary of the passing of the distinguished religious leader, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah. During the meeting, they discussed the developments in the Lebanese situation, as well as what is happening in the region. Ambassador Bukhari emphasized the importance of the diversity that Lebanon experiences, asserting that this diversity represents a positive aspect through the commonalities embraced by the culture of love that the Lebanese people live. He noted that the Kingdom respects everyone and works towards unity on both the Arab and Islamic levels, stating: "There is no hostility or animosity with the honorable Shia community." The ambassador praised the unifying and open discourse presented by Sayyed Ali Fadlallah and commended the dialogue school established by the late religious reference, Sayyed Muhammad Hussein Fadlallah.
