UAE and Turkey Sign Cooperation Agreements and Memorandums of Understanding

Abu Dhabi Crown Prince and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, along with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, witnessed the exchange of cooperation agreements, memorandums of understanding, and protocols between various entities from both countries on Monday. These agreements aim to enhance cooperation and expand partnerships.

The agreements and MOUs between the UAE and Turkey encompass areas such as investment, health, agriculture, as well as transportation, industries, advanced technologies, climate action, culture, youth, and more, according to the Emirates News Agency (WAM).

The agreements and memorandums exchanged during the ceremony held at the Qasr Al Watan in Abu Dhabi included:

1. Memorandum of Understanding between the governments of the UAE and Turkey in the fields of health and medical sciences.

2. Memorandum of Understanding in the field of industries and advanced technologies.

3. Memorandum of Understanding regarding climate action.

4. Memorandum of Understanding in the cultural sector.

5. Joint statement of intent to initiate a Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement between the UAE and Turkey.

6. Memorandum of Understanding in agricultural fields.

7. Memorandum of Understanding in the field of land transport.

8. Memorandum of Understanding regarding youth.

9. Memorandum of Understanding on crisis and disaster management.

10. Memorandum of Understanding in the field of meteorology.

11. Protocol of cooperation in the field of media.

12. Letter of intent regarding cooperation in defense industries.

13. Protocol of cooperation between the National Archives and Library of the UAE and the Archives Directorate of the Republic of Turkey under the Presidency.
