Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah affirmed the Kingdom's appreciation for the significant role played by the international coalition against ISIS, which has been crucial in eliminating its expansion and spread in Iraq and Syria. In a speech while leading the Saudi delegation at the ministerial meeting of the international coalition against the terrorist organization ISIS held in Marrakech, Morocco, he stated: "We must not overlook that the threat from this organization still exists, which requires everyone to continue efforts and maintain ongoing coordination to completely eradicate it."

Prince Faisal bin Farhan also confirmed that the Kingdom remains committed to its firm stance in supporting the efforts of the international coalition against ISIS. He emphasized the Kingdom's concern for the stability of Iraq and its sovereignty over all its territories, praising Iraq's efforts and its continuous coordination with the international coalition to eliminate the organization.

The Saudi Foreign Minister pointed out the Kingdom's commitment to supporting reconstruction projects in Iraq and its efforts to stabilize the liberated areas in Syria, securing safety and economic conditions there. He noted that the Kingdom has established several centers, the most important being the Global Center for Combating Extremist Ideology "Etidal," which operates at the regional and international levels to counter extremist messages. He reiterated the Kingdom's welcome and support for the establishment of the special focus group for Africa since its inception to confront the increasing threat of ISIS's spread in the African continent.
