It is worth mentioning that Maya Al-Bakri, Samer Ismail's wife, is a Syrian fashion designer of Serbian nationality, and the couple shared a love story for two years before their official wedding in Serbia in January 2017, which was limited to relatives and friends. The news of their marriage came as a surprise, as it was announced by Samer on social media after the ceremony had already taken place.
