Barcelona Coach Koeman Suffers Nosebleed During Press Conference

Dutch coach Ronald Koeman held a press conference on the eve of the anticipated match against Sevilla in the 25th round of La Liga. Ten minutes after the conference, the Dutch coach experienced a nosebleed.

Spanish newspaper "Sport" reported that the reason for Koeman's sudden nosebleed during the press conference was due to him taking blood-thinning medication. Journalist Michiel from Sport explained that the Barcelona coach is undergoing regular treatment because of heart issues, and doctors have advised him to continuously take anticoagulants.

Koeman concluded the press conference early due to the nosebleed. During the conference, he confirmed that Barcelona defender Araújo would participate in the match against Sevilla after recovering from an ankle ligament injury. Koeman stated, "Araújo is on the list and has a chance like the others to play; we will decide tomorrow."

Regarding his predictions for the upcoming matches, Koeman said, "As Barcelona's coach, there is always pressure if you don't win. This is not the first time I've coached, I don’t think about losing; I always think about winning. I don’t know what will happen in the matches; we will see in the future. I am optimistic... and clearly, I am thinking about winning tomorrow."

It is worth noting that Dutch coach Ronald Koeman announced the exclusion of Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic from the match against Sevilla due to his lack of confidence in his current fitness level.
