The Syrian artist Ahlam Nasri expressed her happiness on her official Instagram account about the victory she achieved at the Joy Awards festival in Saudi Arabia, where she received the award for Best Arab Female Singer. Ahlam shared a photo of herself during the ceremony, accompanied by words of thanks to everyone who congratulated her. She added, "I am grateful for your love that drowned me with joy and pride, my siblings, friends, and loved ones. From the bottom of my heart, I want to share this award with every talented struggler who respects music, which is the food for the soul, revives the heart, and sweetens memories."
Ahlam stated, "For the first time, I am happy, enjoying, and waiting for the name to be called, and my heart is beating. I shared with you every feeling with utmost honesty and all the childhood that still dominates me. Thank you very much to all my colleagues who congratulated me."
She also thanked the Saudi Entertainment Authority Chairman, Turki Al Sheikh, saying, "All gratitude and appreciation to the Entertainment Authority and its courageous heroes who created happiness with a brilliant future vision, led by the kind and loving hero Turki Al Sheikh, who is dear to my heart and to everyone who knows him closely, Abu Nasser. My wishes go to the home of my spirit, my house, and my dreams, Saudi Arabia, which I embrace in my prayers for the closest dear ones, that God protects it from all evil and keeps it a beacon of giving and goodness. To my beloved city, Riyadh, my pride and esteem, and my best wishes for its continued progress, may it remain the capital of its lovers and admirers as long as this world exists."
In the same context, Ahlam directed words of affection and love to her husband, poet Faik Hassan. She wrote to him, "Thank you to my kindest beloved who returned to me every feeling I thought had traveled far away; my husband is a gift from heaven, just as he calls me." She also thanked the leading institution Rotana for their care for their family and, notably, the dear friend and teacher Salim Al Hindi, and expressed her appreciation to the MBC group for the fantastic organization of yesterday's Joy Awards ceremony.
Ahlam had surprised her husband with a kiss just before the ceremony, which led the audience to describe her as a romantic woman.
