Social media in Yemen has been buzzing with the news of a girl allegedly killing her entire family. Local media reports in Yemen indicate that a girl named Bushra killed her father, a police officer, her mother, and her younger brother, and then attempted to escape from the house. According to the reports, Bushra's neighbors prevented her from leaving and trapped her in a room in the house, as stated by the Egyptian newspaper Al-Akhbar. Neighbors confirmed that the girl was academically outstanding and wanted to maintain her high educational level, which made her parents proud. However, everyone was shocked when they learned she had killed her family with a gun she possessed before trying to flee.
The police report states that Bushra shot her father, killing him instantly. When her mother tried to understand the situation, she was shot in the head, resulting in her death. The girl also killed her brother when he tried to stop her from leaving. It is noteworthy that the police investigation revealed that the circumstances of the crime are mysterious, as Bushra is unable to speak, and investigators have yet to interrogate her.
