Sheikh of the Druze Community Meets with Youth: Our Strength Comes from Your Strength

Sheikh Dr. Sami Abi Al-Muna, the spiritual leader of the Druze community, met with hundreds of young sheikhs who gathered from the mountain regions and Wadi Al-Taym to express their "appreciation for his reverence and his unifying role at the community and national level, and their readiness to follow his guidance and support his path."

After remarks from several sheikhs, the Sheikh expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the youth for their love and presence, emphasizing "the importance of commitment to religious duties first and elevating the spirit through the noble Unitarian path both in belief and practice, by nurturing Unitarian qualities within us to be role models in our actions, dealings, and social presence."

He urged "the brother sheikhs to adhere to the behavioral standards that we emphasize, along with our esteemed sheikhs, and to cooperate and coordinate with the young brothers, as our strength comes from their strength, and we have a duty to embrace and care for them due to the love they hold for us and the hope we have in them."

In response to a question regarding participation in the electoral process, he stated: "It is a right and a duty, and there is no embarrassment for brothers and sisters in this regard, except for the necessity of maintaining discipline and respect and avoiding provocation," extending his greetings and peace to their families and religious councils.

After the meeting, a rich religious evening took place at the shrine of "Our Master Sheikh Abu Hussein Shibly Abi Al-Muna" in the town, attended by a gathering of sheikhs and youth.
