The Greek defender of Italian club Napoli, 29-year-old Kostas Manolas, has suffered a grade one muscle injury. This was confirmed by the official statement released by Napoli.
Manolas was substituted after 15 minutes into the match in which Napoli won 2-1 against Udinese in the 17th round of Serie A two days ago. Napoli stated, "Manolas, who was replaced after a quarter of an hour into the match against Udinese on Sunday, underwent medical tests at the club's clinics which revealed a grade one injury to the right external obturator muscle."
Notably, Napoli is preparing to face Empoli at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in the Round of 16 of the Coppa Italia tomorrow, before hosting Fiorentina in the 18th round of the Italian Serie A next Sunday.
