Title: Chelsea Owner Roman Abramovich Faces Expulsion from the UK Due to Ukraine Invasion

Roman Abramovich, the owner of Chelsea Football Club, is threatened with expulsion from Britain due to the Russian war in Ukraine. The British newspaper "Daily Mail" reported that the Russian businessman is classified as one of the individuals close to Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia, who provides support to him in various ways.

The newspaper cited a source stating that it is unlikely the Russian billionaire will be allowed to live in Britain again or make it his base. The UK has taken a supportive stance towards Ukraine and has condemned Russia’s desire to invade its eastern neighbor on multiple occasions.

It is notable that Abramovich was unable to obtain a visa to enter the country in 2018 but successfully secured a visa three years later using his Israeli passport. He owns a mansion in England valued at £125 million near Kensington Palace, one of the residences of the British royal family.

Abramovich, a former member of the Russian parliament, has repeatedly denied any connections to the ruling elite in his country or any actions that would warrant sanctions against him, especially as the UK considered imposing sanctions on Russia amid escalating tensions with Ukraine. Abramovich started his investments in Chelsea in 2003, transforming the club into one of the giants in England and Europe since then.
