It is well known that the symptoms of bone cancer often resemble everyday health issues that go unnoticed, according to the British Cancer Research organization. However, specialists from the organization have announced certain signs described as "silent" that may indicate a person has bone cancer, as reported by the Russian news agency "Sputnik" today (Monday).
According to the agency, doctors advise against neglecting the occurrence of joint pains that can affect individuals at any age. Sometimes, patients do not give the necessary attention to the pain and suppress it using painkillers.
In this context, another symptom that should not be overlooked is numbness - which generally appears during the disease's progression - when the tumor grows and damages nerves, leading to a final sign being joint stiffness.
Earlier, Dr. Amin Sabteen, a specialist at the Harley Street Clinic in the UK, listed nine key symptoms of cancer, including unexplained prolonged pain in any part of the body. If these symptoms are noticed for more than three weeks, one should consult a doctor immediately.
