Army and Popular Mobilization Forces Begin Search and Security Operation in Wadi Al-Kour in Kirkuk

The Popular Mobilization Forces Directorate announced today, Sunday, the launch of a security operation involving its troops along with the army to search and secure Wadi Al-Kour in Kirkuk Governorate. The directorate stated in a statement that "a force from the 16th Brigade of the Popular Mobilization Forces, the army, and the federal police, with support from the army aviation, has started a search and security operation in Wadi Al-Kour and the surrounding areas in Kirkuk." It added that "the operation aims to pursue ISIS remnants and secure the areas of responsibility from the infiltration of terrorists in Kirkuk."
