The Lebanese Army Command issued two statements regarding the air and maritime violations carried out by the Israeli enemy.
According to the National News Agency, a statement from the Directorate of Guidance in the Army Command reported that on February 10, 2021, at 10:45 AM, two Israeli warplanes violated Lebanese airspace from the town of Kafr Kila to the town of Batroun, leaving the airspace at 11:00 AM over the town of Yaron. Between 12:15 PM and 7:10 PM, two hostile air violations were recorded by two Israeli reconnaissance planes, which conducted circular flights over southern Lebanon and the Bekaa region.
Regarding maritime violations, the statement clarified that on February 10, 2021, between 3:30 AM and 4:38 AM, an Israeli warship violated Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras al-Naqoura, reaching a distance of approximately 204 meters, where elements on board launched a flare over the mentioned marine area. It added that on February 9, 2021, between 11:27 PM and 11:29 PM, another Israeli warship violated Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras al-Naqoura, reaching approximately 203 meters, where its personnel launched two flares over the said marine area.
The statement confirmed that the issue of violations is being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon.
