The "Coliseum Alfonso Pérez" stadium hosted the match between Spanish club Valencia and their hosts Getafe as part of the twenty-fifth round of La Liga's current 2020-2021 season.
Getafe achieved a valuable win over Valencia with a score of three to zero. The first half ended with Getafe leading by a goal scored by Uruguayan player Mauro Arambarri in the 39th minute with a powerful strike. At the beginning of the second half, Valencia faced a significant blow with the expulsion of their French defender Mouctar Diakhaby in the 51st minute, shortly before Jaime Mata scored Getafe's second goal in the 54th minute.
In the 71st minute, Valencia's Brazilian defender Gabriel Paulista was also sent off, leaving the bats to continue the match with nine players. Carles Aleñà, who joined from Barcelona last January, succeeded in scoring Getafe's third goal in the 87th minute.
This win marked Getafe's first victory in La Liga after a six-match absence, in which they lost five matches and drew one. With this result, Getafe's points increased to 27, placing them fourteenth in the league table, while Valencia also remained at 27 points but in thirteenth place due to goal difference.
