Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed and President Macron Emphasize Strengthening Strategic Partnership

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and Emmanuel Macron, President of the French Republic, discussed in Paris the friendly relations and strategic partnership between the two countries, as well as promising opportunities for development. The meeting also addressed various regional and international issues. A joint statement was issued on the occasion of the visit, highlighting both sides' commitment to the strong and historic bilateral relations and the strategic partnership, which aims to cooperate in all areas to face common global and regional challenges, and to explore possible opportunities to enhance peace and prosperity. Both sides welcomed the upcoming opening of Expo 2020 Dubai on October 1 and the organization of French National Day on October 2, 2021.
