Dubai's Ambulance Service Launches World's Most Expensive and Fastest Ambulance

The Dubai Ambulance Service has launched "The Super Responder," the world's most expensive ambulance, today (Friday) at Expo 2020 Dubai. This Emirati-made vehicle is a "Lykan HyperSport" manufactured by W Motors, based in Dubai, costing 13 million dirhams and featuring the highest levels of luxury. Khalifa Al-Drai, CEO of Dubai Ambulance Service, explained that Dubai has always been distinguished by many unique features, and the launch of this vehicle symbolizes Dubai's uniqueness among the largest and most important cities in the world. Additionally, the ambulance's incredible speed ensures rapid response to emergencies requiring urgent intervention.

The vehicle carries the slogan "Dubai, the Best City to Live in the World" and the hashtag #DubaiDestinations, part of an initiative recently launched by the Dubai Media Council to promote notable sites and attractions in the emirate. The powerful ambulance also adds a new landmark and additional attraction to Expo 2020 Dubai, the most significant global event ever held in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia.

The ambulance is outfitted with about 440 diamonds embedded in the front lights, with gold threads used in the stitching of the interior leather trim, and its interior roof is painted in gold. It can reach a maximum speed of 400 kilometers per hour, making it the fastest ambulance in the world. "The Super Responder," with its carbon-fiber body, is equipped with several future technologies, including a 3D display utilizing hologram technology with interactive motion control, a satellite navigation system, and internet connectivity. It is powered by a mighty six-cylinder twin-turbo engine generating 780 horsepower.

The "Lykan HyperSport" first appeared in the famous Hollywood film "Furious 7," and it is one of only seven such cars in the world. The Dubai Ambulance Service has a large fleet covering the entire emirate, totaling 331 vehicles to ensure the highest levels of response speed for emergencies at all times, supported by a highly trained team of paramedics. Response times to emergencies at the Expo site recorded unprecedented figures, reaching 1 minute and 42 seconds in October, 1 minute and 9 seconds in November, and 1 minute and 6 seconds in December, averaging 1 minute and 17 seconds, marking the fastest response times recorded in ambulance history worldwide.
