Ronaldo Exits the Field Angrily: Cameras Capture the Incident

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo was engulfed in anger after Manchester United's coach, Ralf Rangnick, ordered his substitution during the match against Brentford in the Premier League. Shortly after the second half began in the match on Wednesday evening, Rangnick called for Ronaldo's substitution.

The postponed match, part of the 17th round of the Premier League, ended with a 3-1 victory for Manchester United. Despite the win, Ronaldo's performance in the game was disappointing. His anger was evident when he saw his number displayed on the fourth official's electronic board.

Cameras captured the moment the Portuguese star put on his jacket on the bench, before throwing it angrily on the ground, appearing to express his dissatisfaction with what had happened through his words. In another indication of his displeasure, Ronaldo chose to sit on the steps next to the bench rather than take a seat alongside his teammates.

In one of the images, Rangnick attempted to embrace Ronaldo, but the latter turned his face away and closed his eyes. Ronaldo did not perform well in the match, failing to score and losing possession of the ball eight times.

Following this victory, Manchester United raised their points total to 35 from 21 matches, placing them in seventh position in the league table, while Brentford remained at 23 points, sitting in fourteenth place.
