# Gruesome Crime Shakes Kuwait: Kidnapping and Murder

Kuwaiti media have revealed details of a crime that shook the streets of Kuwait, following the arrest of a suspect who killed a citizen with a fatal stab to the chest after abducting her in her car from the "Sabah Al-Salem" area by forcing her to stop by deliberately colliding with her vehicle. The Kuwaiti newspaper "Al-Anbaa" reported that the operations room of the Kuwaiti Ministry of Interior received a call on Tuesday afternoon from a citizen who stated that her sister had been kidnapped along with two children in her car from the Sabah Al-Salem area.

According to a security source quoted by the newspaper, "Immediately, security personnel moved to the scene, and it was found that the perpetrator had left his black pickup truck behind and fled in the victim's car." The source added: "Descriptions of the vehicle belonging to the victim were circulated, and the identity of the perpetrator was determined via his pickup truck and contacted him by phone, during which he attempted to mislead the security personnel into believing he was in the South Surra area."

While the search operation was underway, the operations room received a report from Al-Addan Hospital about the arrival of a citizen in her thirties suffering from a stab wound to the chest, stating that she had drawn her last breath due to the heavy bleeding. According to the source, "Surveillance cameras were utilized, which identified the vehicle driven by the perpetrator, and it was confirmed to be the same vehicle in which the victim was kidnapped. He resides in the Al-Riqqa area, leading security forces to move to his residence after confirming his presence there, setting up a security perimeter around his house, and arresting him."

Regarding the details of the crime and the information available about the killer, the source explained that the suspect has a criminal record, having stabbed the citizen inside her vehicle and transferred her, bleeding, to Al-Addan Hospital before fleeing. The source indicated that the suspect was born in 1991, and the victim was two years older than him. A case had been recorded against him at the Al-Shuhada Police Station, and a decision was made to detain him for 10 days for that case, and as soon as he was released from prison, he pursued the victim and committed his crime. The victim's sister confirmed to security personnel that the perpetrator kidnapped her sister due to "disputes" between them.
