According to this year's evaluation results for 2021, King Abdulaziz International Airport ranked as the top Saudi international airport, coming in at 50th place globally. King Khalid International Airport moved up 36 places to rank 58th, while Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz Airport advanced 16 positions to 68th. King Fahd International Airport secured the 87th position, improving from its previous ranking of 91st globally.

In the Middle East region, King Abdulaziz International Airport was ranked third, King Khalid International Airport fifth, and King Fahd International Airport ninth. Additionally, Prince Mohammad bin Abdulaziz International Airport, which is the first airport in the Kingdom to be privatized, received for the second consecutive year the award for the best regional airport and the sixth position in the Middle East.

These results serve as a testament to the commitment of the staff at Saudi Arabia’s international airports to provide the best travel experience for passengers, affirming their leadership and excellence while moving forward with ongoing development to meet the strategic objectives of the Civil Aviation Sector derived from the National Transport and Logistics Strategy and to achieve advanced global rankings. Furthermore, they enhance the efforts of the General Authority of Civil Aviation aimed at improving the quality of services provided to travelers and enhancing the travel experience at the Kingdom's airports.

It is noteworthy that the General Authority of Civil Aviation continues to implement a comprehensive program for evaluating the quality of airport services provided to travelers at all airports in the Kingdom, covering all aspects of service evaluation for passengers transiting through Saudi airports.
