His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister, and Minister of Defense, met in Riyadh on Monday with His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the United Arab Emirates.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Crown Prince welcomed the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and his accompanying delegation on their visit to the Kingdom. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed conveyed the greetings of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates, to his brother, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, while he himself was entrusted with the greetings of the King to the President of the United Arab Emirates.
The Crown Prince and the Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi exchanged congratulations on the approaching Eid al-Adha and expressed their hopes that God Almighty would bring this joyful occasion back to both countries, their peoples, and the Islamic nation with prosperity and blessings.
During the meeting, they reviewed the close brotherly relations between the two countries, aspects of bilateral cooperation, and opportunities for support and development in various fields, in addition to discussing the latest developments in regional and international situations and the efforts being made in this regard.
The meeting was attended by His Royal Highness Prince Turki bin Mohammed bin Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers; His Royal Highness Prince Khalid bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Minister of Defense; and His Excellency Dr. Musaad bin Mohammed Al Aiban, Minister of State and Member of the Council of Ministers, National Security Advisor.
From the UAE side, the meeting was attended by His Highness Sheikh Tahnoun bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Member of the Executive Council; His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan; and His Excellency Ali Al Shamsi, Deputy Secretary-General of the Supreme National Security Council.
