Concern has spread among fans after the announcement of Egyptian artist Samir Sobhi being admitted to the hospital due to heart problems that required surgical intervention. Although initial reports indicated he would undergo a heart catheterization on Thursday and be discharged afterward, as confirmed by Ilham Shaheen during her visit to him, Sobhi revealed shocking details about his health condition during a phone call with media personality Basma Wahba.
He disclosed that he has been receiving chemotherapy sessions for the past year, which has affected his heart. While he managed to overcome cancer during this time, he stated that the issues with his heart necessitate urgent surgery in the coming days, urging everyone to pray for him to get through this health crisis.
Samir Sobhi did not downplay the seriousness of the upcoming surgery, indicating that it is significant and requires extensive care. He hopes to successfully overcome it, especially since it is scheduled for within four days.
He also spoke about the visitors he received while in the hospital, referring to them as "loved ones," mentioning Ilham Shaheen, Mervat Amin, Donia Samir Ghanem, Nagwa Fouad, and Fifi Abdo. Additionally, he expressed his gratitude to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi for his contributions to the country over the past years and noted that Minister of Culture Dr. Inas Abdel Dayem had contacted him, emphasizing that he is one of Egypt's own and can count on their support if needed.
