Last night, the Emirate of Dubai hosted an artistic event organized for the first time on its soil: the Murex d’Or festival dedicated to honoring Arab and international stars. For 20 years, this festival was held in Beirut, but its founders, Zahi and Fadi Halou, decided to present a global edition in the United Arab Emirates this year. How did the stars appear on the red carpet of this event?
The festival took place at Atlantis the Palm Dubai and honored not only Arab stars but also Turkish actor Ugur Gunes, known for his role as Ayman in the series "Bitterness of Love," and the world-renowned cellist Croatian Hauser. A group of Arab stars dazzled on the red carpet with their elegant looks. Here’s a look at their appearances:
- Emirati star Ahlam attended the event to receive the award for "Arab Singing Star of the Year." She wore a light green dress featuring an off-the-shoulder design with soft embroidery, paired with diamond jewelry.
- Lebanese star Nadine Njeim won the award for "Arab Actress of the Year." She appeared in a stunning look from Aden Fashion, characterized by an off-the-shoulder black dress adorned with feathers at the bottom and accompanied by sheer black gloves. Nadine complemented her look with diamond jewelry from Tiffany & Co.
