Oil prices continued their upward trend today, with Brent crude stabilizing above the $100 mark. This comes after Iran targeted ships attempting to pass through the Strait of Hormuz, purportedly in response to the United States targeting oil tankers belonging to the Islamic Republic, according to 'Agence France-Presse'.
Brent North Sea crude, which surpassed the $100 threshold for the first time since July on Wednesday, saw an additional rise of approximately 0.5% on Thursday during early Asian trading, reaching over $101.60.
