Army Command Issues Statements Regarding Israeli Violations

The Army Command issued two statements regarding the air and maritime violations carried out by the Israeli enemy.

The National News Agency reported that the Direction Directorate in the Lebanese Army issued a statement clarifying that on February 8, 2021, from 9:15 to February 9, 2021, at 1:10, three air violations by Israeli reconnaissance aircraft were recorded, which included circular flights over areas in the south, Baabda, Aley, Beirut, and its suburbs. The Army Command also issued a statement on February 9, 2021, indicating that from 10:40 to 11:01, two Israeli enemy drones breached Lebanese airspace opposite the towns of Al-Wazzani and Al-Adaisseh at a maximum distance of about 200 meters before departing towards the occupied territories. The statement clarified that the issue of air violations is being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon.

Regarding the maritime violations, the Army Command's Direction Directorate issued a statement on February 9, 2021, indicating that from 10:00 to 10:43, two hostile maritime violations were recorded in Lebanese territorial waters opposite Ras al-Naqura by two Israeli warships, at a maximum distance of 200 meters. The statement explained that the issue of the two violations is being monitored in coordination with the United Nations Interim Forces in Lebanon.
