In the second half, Francesco Acerbi of Lazio accidentally scored an own goal, making it 4-0 for Bayern Munich in the 47th minute, while Joaquín Correa reduced the deficit for the Italian team with their first goal in the 49th minute.
Bayern Munich advanced to the Round of 16 of the Champions League after accumulating 16 points from five wins and one draw, scoring 18 goals and conceding five in six matches, finishing at the top of Group A. Meanwhile, Lazio secured their spot in the European knockout stage by finishing second in Group F with 10 points from two wins and four draws, scoring 11 goals and conceding four.
