The "Stadio Olimpico" will host the match between Lazio and Roma in the derby of the Italian capital this evening, Friday, as part of the 18th round of the Serie A for the 2020-2021 football season, in an exciting encounter between the two teams.
Roma seeks to regain the rhythm of victories to compete for the Serie A title this season or at least to finish in the top four and return to participate in the Champions League next season, following their recent draw against Inter Milan with a score of 2-2.
Roma relies on its two recently outstanding stars, namely Armenian midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, who has scored 8 goals in Serie A this season, and the new arrival from Real Madrid, forward Borja Mayoral, who forms a remarkable attacking duo with Bosnian Edin Dzeko.
On the other hand, Lazio aims to continue their victories, having won against Fiorentina and Parma in the last two rounds, relying on their star and top scorer Ciro Immobile, who has scored 11 goals this season in the competition, and was the top scorer last season in Serie A with 37 goals, in addition to Spanish player Luis Alberto.
It is worth mentioning that Roma currently occupies the third place in the Serie A standings with 34 points, while Lazio is in eighth place with 28 points.
