The artist Elissa addressed the medical professionals in Lebanon, expressing appreciation for their role in combating the COVID-19 virus amidst the significant rise in infection numbers and the complete lockdown in Lebanon as a preventive measure to curb the virus's spread.
Elissa tweeted on her social media account "Twitter," saying: "A thousand heartfelt greetings to all the medical staff, the white army who have been facing the real battle since August 4 to stop the insidious COVID-19 pandemic... Forgive us for our negligence." The Internal Security Forces in Lebanon emphasized the pursuit of those violating the rules related to the nationwide complete lockdown. Lebanon announced a state of public health emergency and implemented a comprehensive lockdown with a total curfew starting from yesterday, Thursday, until January 25, which is subject to extension, in an effort to control the spread of the coronavirus in the country.
