Lebanese artist Ward El Khal surprised her audience and fans by discussing some public issues during her appearance on the show "Al-Muwajaha," hosted by media personality Rudolf Helal.
The Lebanese artist expressed that she is not against premarital sex and supports cohabitation, considering homosexuality a personal freedom. She also mentioned her support for the idea of adoption, indicating that she might adopt in the future but does not wish to do so at this time. She clarified that the decision not to have children was made by her and her husband based on personal conviction.
On another note, Ward El Khal criticized stars who use the TikTok app, stating that it lacks significance, yet many stars have involved their children in the app, as she described it. She urged them to reduce their usage, finding it inappropriate.
Regarding her artistic perspective, Ward El Khal expressed that she does not see Syrian artists surpassing Lebanese artists; instead, she believes that many young Lebanese artists excel beyond their Syrian counterparts. She justified her recent statement about some young Lebanese artists diminishing their value by taking minor roles alongside Arab actors by saying it was out of concern for them and their profession.
Discussing her latest work, the series "Hind Khanum," in which she starred alongside Syrian actor Khaled El Qesh, she revealed that her expectations were not met, especially since the number of episodes was high and the production did not meet the required quality. Additionally, she noted that the project lacked significant star names.
