Roma Wins and Qualifies for the Round of 16 in the Europa League

The Stadio Olimpico hosted the match between Italian club Roma and their Portuguese guests, Sporting Braga, in the second leg of the Round of 32 of the Europa League.

In this match, Roma achieved a new victory against Sporting Braga with a score of 3-1. Veteran Roma player Edin Dzeko scored the opening goal in the 24th minute. In the second half, Carles Pérez increased the Wolves' lead in the 75th minute. Bryan Cristante reduced the score for Sporting Braga with a goal in the 88th minute, before Borja Mayoral sealed the match with the third goal for the Roman Wolves in the 90+1 minute. It is noteworthy that Roma had won the first leg in Portugal 2-0, with goals from Dzeko and Borja Mayoral. This victory comes after Roma's stumble in Serie A, where they drew 0-0 against Benevento, causing them to drop to fourth place in the standings behind Inter, Milan, and Juventus.
