Maha El Soghair Reveals Details of Her Divorce from Ahmed El Sakka Twice

Media personality Maha El Soghair revealed details about her divorce from her husband, star Ahmed El Sakka, twice. During a radio program, Maha mentioned that they divorced twice due to conflicts: "We separated and came back, we separated and came back; there are many people who don’t know this, and I feel when I tell people, as if I am saying something wrong. Some people are at stages where it's better for you to separate, it’s the safest solution for us and our children, for each one to go their own way.”

Maha added, “I got married when I was 20 years old; I was young, and we divorced and reunited. I couldn’t endure the conflicts and I was always trying to please the other party but not myself.”

On another note, Ahmed El Sakka is waiting for the release of his new movie "Spider" in theaters, after several delays due to COVID-19, according to Akhbar Al-Youm newspaper. The film’s plot is set within the genres of action and romance, which Ahmed prefers, and it is characterized by excitement and suspense, as he faces confrontations with mafia men due to the illegal actions of his brother, "Zaher Abdel Rahim".

For the first time, actress Mona Zaki will be seen speaking Korean during the events of the film, where she plays a tour guide, having learned the sentences she says in the film with the help of a translator. The film is penned by Mohamed Nair and directed by Ahmed Nader Galal.

Maha El Soghair explained during the episode that she was mistakenly diagnosed in Egypt as a cancer patient but later, after traveling to England, doctors confirmed she was suffering from a severe autoimmune disease due to psychological stress. She indicated that she still struggles with the effects of this illness, which caused significant weight loss at times, bringing her down to 48 kilograms. She emphasized that she became more mindful of herself and her health after this experience, having been used to being affected by negative matters internally, indicating that this disease results from genetic factors or psychological stress.

The El Gouna Film Festival, during its last edition, honored the late makeup artist Mohamed El Soghair with the presence of his daughter, Maha El Soghair, her husband Ahmed El Sakka, and Maha's brother, who was overwhelmed with tears. Maha mentioned that part of the profits from Mohamed El Soghair's institutions will go to community work annually, and while discussing him, actress Bushra was seen visibly affected by his passing, showing signs of crying as well. Finally, a short film about the deceased was shown, recounting his journey and accomplishments.
