The distinguished and skilled driver Elias Dahni is gearing up for his first international event of his career, participating in the 57th edition of the renowned French "Antibes Côte d'Azur Rally" alongside co-driver Rony Maroun. The rally will take place from May 19 to 22, gathering around 150 drivers, and will mark the beginning of Dahni's efforts to achieve his goals for the year 2022.

After competing in the French rally under the "Chazelle" team, Dahni plans to embark on the Lebanese Rally Championship and Hill Climb Championship, aiming to reach the podium and earn titles as a young driver attracting attention for his professional and skilled driving, which has been evident since he entered the world of motorsport in 2015 through the "Speed Test" racing championship.

Dahni stated, "I will participate in my first external rally, which is the 'Antibes Côte d'Azur Rally' with co-driver Rony Maroun in a 'Renault Clio Rally 5'. This will be my fourth rally after participating in three rallies in the Lebanese Rally Championship last year. I plan to compete in a second international rally in Europe this year."

Regarding his goals for participating in the "Antibes Rally," Dahni enthusiastically mentioned, "First, to gain experience, secondly to achieve good results, and to prepare seriously for the Lebanese Rally Championship, which will kick off with the Spring Rally in June. I will compete in three categories in the French rally: 'Rally 5', 'Clio Trophy', and 'Clio Trophy Junior,' and I hope to achieve good results."

While he will drive the "Renault Clio Rally 5" in the "Antibes Rally," he will compete in the Lebanese Championship using a "Citroën DS3 R3 Max" with co-driver Amin Aql.

Dahni reflected on his results in recent years, stating, "In 2021, I finished second in the Lebanese Rally Championship in the front-wheel-drive category and fifth overall in my first championship participation. In the Hill Climb Championship, I won the title in the front-wheel-drive category and the title in the 'Speed Test' championship for the same category for the second consecutive year."

He revealed that his ambitions are "boundless in 2022, especially aiming to secure the title of the Lebanese Rally Championship in the front-wheel-drive category, currently held by driver Bassel Abu Hamdan."

He expressed gratitude to the Lebanese Automobile and Touring Club for well-organized championships and to co-drivers Rony Maroun and Amin Aql for their fruitful collaboration. Dahni mentioned that he has started testing both his Citroën and Renault cars, also thanking the "I.M.T" team and sponsors, primarily "Mid Logistics Services" and "Motul." He concluded by stating, "I have a passion for motorsport and I have completed my preparations for the current season; success is in God's hands."
