The Moroccan national team has qualified for the Round of 16 after defeating Canada 2-1, in the matches of Group F of the World Cup. Thus, it becomes the first Arab team to successfully pass the group stage. In the same group, the Croatian team advanced after a goalless draw with the Belgian team, which was eliminated from the competition.
