President Michel Aoun met with U.S. Ambassador Dorothy Shea and received a written message from American mediator Amos Hochstein regarding proposals related to the demarcation of the southern maritime borders. Aoun contacted Presidents Nabih Berri and Najib Mikati to consult with them on the American mediator's offer in order to provide a timely Lebanese response.
