Putin: Russia Faces "Sanctions War"

Russian President Vladimir Putin indicated today, Thursday, that Russia is facing a "sanctions war," in his first major speech to business leaders since he ordered the deployment of tens of thousands of his country’s forces in Ukraine last year. Putin added, "Russia is rapidly redirecting its economy toward countries that have not targeted it with sanctions," and thanked business leaders for their efforts to assist the Russian state.
